Hello, World

Hello. Here I am on Dreamwidth. With a sense of unsureness about what's next ... I would prefer to have LiveJournal NOT expire, thankyouverymuch, and there have been so many other LJ 'scares' in the past that didn't kill it, but which did eventually seem to sap much of the energy from the community of people I had built over the years.

Let's focus on the positive. I never expected much from blogging when I started, early in 2003, and yet it reshaped my life in many wonderful ways. May this account be part of that ongoing process.

Thanks to hickdaddybear hickdaddybear for inviting me ... I guess I'll have to learn how this platform lets me link to him. ;-)
